Agreement and intended use

By using HQ Capture, you agree to these Terms. HQ Capture is intended for adult rideshare drivers who are legally permitted to use the supported rideshare services in their area. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

HQ Capture is an independent work companion for recording offers, evaluating user-selected criteria, tracking ride and shift milestones, and organizing records in Driver HQ. It does not provide transportation services and does not make rideshare decisions for you.

Driver control and safe use

• You remain responsible for every accept, decline, pickup, drop-off, cancellation, route, and other action in the rideshare app.
• Configure settings, review records, correct information, and troubleshoot only while safely parked.
• Do not interact with HQ Capture while driving or use it in a way that violates traffic, distracted-driving, rideshare-platform, or other applicable rules.
• Stop Capture whenever screen monitoring is not wanted or appropriate.

Recommendations, estimates, and accuracy

Offer recommendations are informational. They apply the settings and criteria you select, but the final decision is always yours. Dollar-per-mile, hourly, time, distance, earnings, mileage, expense, and other calculated values may be estimates.

Screen recognition can be affected by device differences, operating-system changes, network conditions, supported rideshare-app updates, screen layouts, visibility, and incomplete source information. HQ Capture does not guarantee that every offer or ride event will be detected, classified, synchronized, or displayed without error.

Review important information in the rideshare app and verify your Driver HQ records. Do not rely on HQ Capture as the sole record for payment disputes, taxes, mileage substantiation, legal compliance, or safety decisions.

No professional advice or earnings guarantee

HQ Capture does not provide financial, tax, accounting, legal, insurance, or investment advice. It does not guarantee earnings, profitability, deductions, platform eligibility, ride availability, or any particular result. Consult a qualified professional when advice is needed.

Third-party services and independence

HQ Capture may work alongside services provided by Uber, Google, Cloudflare, Google Play, and others. Your use of those services remains subject to their own terms and policies. Their availability, interfaces, and rules may change outside HQ Capture's control.

HQ Capture is independent and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Uber Technologies, Inc. Uber and related names and marks belong to their respective owners.

Accounts, Driver HQ, and privacy

You are responsible for maintaining control of the Google account connected to HQ Capture. Your Driver HQ spreadsheet belongs to you and remains in Google Drive unless you delete it there. Disconnecting Google or deleting Capture cloud data does not automatically delete that spreadsheet.

Our Privacy Policy explains the information handled by the app, screenshots and on-device OCR, cloud synchronization, retention, support access, and your deletion choices.

Free trial and subscription

HQ Capture is designed to provide full app access during a seven-day, no-card-required free trial, followed by one paid subscription for continued access. HQ Capture does not contain advertisements or offer separate feature tiers. Before purchase, the subscription screen will identify the price, billing period, automatic-renewal terms, and cancellation method.

When a trial or paid entitlement expires, Capture features may become unavailable. The Driver HQ spreadsheet already created in the user's Google Drive remains owned by and accessible to that user. Google Play purchases and subscriptions are also governed by Google Play's terms and management tools. Paid access does not guarantee uninterrupted compatibility with a third-party rideshare app.

Availability and changes

Testing and prerelease versions may contain unfinished features or defects. Features may be repaired, changed, added, limited, or removed as the app and supported services evolve. We may suspend a feature or service when needed for security, maintenance, legal compliance, or to prevent harm.

Acceptable use

Do not use HQ Capture to break the law, harm another person, gain unauthorized access, interfere with the service, evade platform safeguards, misrepresent app behavior, or attempt to make the app autonomously control a rideshare service. Do not submit passwords, authorization codes, or unnecessary rider information in support messages.

Warranty and responsibility

To the extent permitted by law, HQ Capture is provided on an “as available” basis without a promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. You remain responsible for safe driving, rideshare-platform compliance, taxes, expenses, records, and business decisions. Nothing in these Terms limits consumer rights that cannot legally be limited.

Changes to these Terms

Material changes will be reflected here with a revised date. When appropriate, notice may also be provided in the app or through its distribution channel. Continuing to use the app after updated Terms take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
