Cloudflare may process ordinary request information, such as an IP address and request metadata, to deliver and protect the service. HQ Capture does not use that information for advertising or location tracking.
When Capture is active, its accessibility service reads limited visible text, view identifiers, source bounds, and click/scroll interaction signals from the supported Uber Driver screen. These signals help detect offers and recognize Start and Complete ride controls. The service can also request a screenshot for recognition.
Accessibility is restricted to the Uber Driver app. HQ Capture cannot perform gestures and does not press, accept, decline, or otherwise control Uber buttons.
Google ML Kit reads offer screenshots on the phone. Screenshot images are not uploaded to the HQ Capture cloud service. Extracted text and structured ride information may be sent through the service for delivery to Driver HQ.
HQ Capture does not request precise or approximate location permission. Pickup and destination text may still be handled because it appears on the offer screen.
Pending captures and retained screenshots are stored in private app storage. In the Google Sheets version, HQ Capture creates a Driver HQ spreadsheet in your Google Drive. The spreadsheet belongs to you.
The app uses Google’s limited drive.file access for files it creates or that you explicitly select. It cannot browse unrelated Drive files. Google authorization tokens are encrypted on the server.
A manual diagnostic report is sent only when you choose Send Diagnostic Report. It can include app and version health, queue counts, crash type, and controlled pickup, drop-off, bubble, and upload outcome labels.
In the personal testing version, you can separately start a Live Support session from Settings. A session lasts no more than four hours, stops when you choose Stop Live Support or end your shift, and sends only those controlled operational event labels as they occur. A visible in-app status and Capture notification show when it is active.
Manual diagnostics and Live Support never send screenshots, OCR text, rider names, addresses, earnings, coordinates, or ride details, and they do not provide remote control of the phone.

You can delete completed local history or request deletion of stored cloud payloads, diagnostic reports, and Live Support sessions and events from Privacy & Data in the app. Disconnecting Google or deleting Capture cloud data does not delete your Driver HQ spreadsheet.
HQ Capture does not sell personal information, contain advertising, or include third-party advertising trackers. Information is shared only with providers needed to operate the service, with support personnel when you explicitly allow support access, when legally required, or when you direct an export or share.
Protections include HTTPS, signed requests, replay protection, private Android storage, and encrypted server storage for Google authorization tokens. Android cloud backup is disabled for Capture’s private app data.
